The Fund for Non Governmental Organisations in Cyprus (NGO Fund) endeavours to strengthen civil society in Cyprus to the benefit of the country and the people of Cyprus as a whole. Through their effectiveness in reaching different social groups, and in defining precisely the needs of society in a number of sensitive areas, NGOs have a significant contribution to progress and the reduction of economic and social disparities as well as for ensuring that the benefits of European integration are made available to as many people as possible.
The NGO Fund is co-financed by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway through the EEA Financial Mechanism and the Norwegian Financial Mechanism and by the Republic of Cyprus through the Planning Bureau.
The Intermediary First Elements Euroconsultants Ltd. and Euroconsultants S.A. is responsible for managing the NGO Fund in Cyprus.
